Robusta, identified as Coffee Canephora, is from the family of Rubiaceae. The plant has shallow roots and grows into a robust shrub of about 10 meters in height. The flower has two chromosomes, cherries ripen in 11 months, temperature around 20 deg C, and rainfall upwards of 1500 mm, producing oval-shaped beans. Strong in Caffeine content 2.7%, contains less sugar (3-7%). Grown in lower altitudes and is Less susceptible to pests. It has a strong, grainy, and a little bitter taste. It has muted and mellowed striking notes of fruit and bitterness. It provides froth and bubbles in expresso.
